Details

Named after the Greek God of the Winds, Bontrager's Aeolus 5.0 Wheels were designed by the gurus at Hed Cycling. Handmade in Waterloo, Wisconsin from OCLV carbon, these stellar hoops have a 50mm cross section and a tour-proven shape for perfectly optimized aerodynamics. Even the hub itself is aero. And, when the road turns up, these feather-weight carbon beauties climb with the greatest of ease.

    Comments:

Over 500 miles on them so far, set up with Stans No Tubes, Fusion 3 Tubeless Tires and Swiss Yellow Stop Pads. Total weight with bike & rider 230# - no flats and wheels still true (85# F-90# R air). You can feel the crosswinds but no problem with brake fade (not that many long descents in Nebraska) Do not know what the future will hold with these carbons, but so far so good.
